My story with The Huntingtons is very similar to that of Dogwood. I fell in love with the Flying Tart Records release Fun and Games after wisely snagging it from Sound & Spirit and quickly gravitated towards their T&N debut. High School Rock continued the band's Ramones "gimmick," but brought a slightly more polished sound. Some of the group's best songs come from this album, with "High School Rock," "Jeannie Hates the Ramones," the Back to the Future fanboy's dream of "1985," and "Jackie is an Atheist" leading the way. While not a huge fan of their heroes' work, I've always had a soft spot for The Huntingtons. This is a much higher-rated album for me, personally, but I would've been devastated to not see them on the list at all. I'm more than happy to represent Mikey, Cliffy, and the guys for T&N's 25th anniversary!
