For our 6th annual Highlighting feature, we've done things a little differently. Normally, we select our top 25 most anticipated releases for the whole year, but we realize that it's tough to really gauge EVERYTHING that may release throughout a given year when we're making the list in January. So, for 2012, we've split the year into TWO pieces -- January to June and June to December. Also, we're making each list 15 artists/releases for a total of 30 in 2012.

We've already selected the first fifteen artists, so please click here to check those out. Without further ado, we give you Highlighting Second-Half 2012!

#11. Capital Lights
Rhythm N' Moves

Release Date: July 17, 2012
Talk about a pleasant surprise! After their popular 2008 debut, This Is An Outrage!, fans of pop/punk couldn't get enough of Capital Lights, and were heartbroken when they announced that they were breaking up. When I heard that Capital Lights was recording again, it made my week! Even with all the hype surrounding the new record, the question remains: will their sophomore release live up to its predecessor?
        - Cortney Warner

Capital Lights was a band that was far too young to die. After their outstanding debut and their brief demise, the band is back with more fist pumping tunes. Although Rhythm N' Moves will be different than This Is An Outrage and might alienate some fans, I'm stoked for the album.
        - Nathaniel Schexnayder
