I’ve been running from the past
I’ve been flying a little too fast
Can you tell me what life’s all about
Can you tell me can you help me out

I heard of a savior heard of a prince heard of a love that never ends
I heard that someone came to save me from myself
I found it hard to believe you just ask and you receive
And there’s nothing you can give except yourself
God help me out - God help me out - God help me out

I’ve been sing’n for a while
I’ve been play’n a little too wild
I tried all the highs got only lows
I just need someone who really knows

I heard of a savior heard of a prince heard of a love that never ends
I heard that someone came to save me from myself
I found it hard to believe you just ask and you receive
And there’s nothing you can give except yourself
God help me out - God help me out - God help me out
(Bridge) I don’t know why I took so long - Selfish pride can kill your soul - Now I know the time has come
Cause’ I heard of a savior heard of a prince heard of a love that never ends
I heard that someone came to save me from myself
I found it hard to believe you just ask and you receive
And there’s nothing you can give except yourself
God help me out - God help me out - God help me out - God help me out - Go help me out (fade)
