#8. Falling Up
untitled

Release Date: Sometime 2011
It’s never fun to see one of your favorite bands break up. On the other hand, it’s really fun to know that Falling Up will be back with new, full album of alternative rock songs.
        - Nathaniel Schexnayder

Didn't Falling Up quit recently? Well yes, but apparently only temporarily. Their upcoming independent, listener-funded album will definitely be one of the year's most pleasant surprises. There's also no telling where they'll go sonically, considering how bizarre their last release was.
        - Timothy Estabrooks

Though they only recently broke up, they're making a comeback... Their last album left us on somewhat of a lower note, so maybe this comeback will do the band a little justice.
        - Scott Fryberger

A reunion and one Kickstarter campaign later, and we're due for another Falling Up album this year. I still don't really understand how this happened, and I haven't been a huge fan of the band in the past, but their upcoming fan-funded independent album due out could be a pleasant surprise in the making...
        - Roger Gelwicks

I’ve enjoyed this alternative rock band since back in 2004, but with each new release gravitating towards uniqueness and gaining a sound all their own; I began to fall in love. I was super-sad when they broke up, but über-stoked to see them getting back together. I am confident that this year's release will be one of a kind.
        - Kevin Hoskins

Considering all the weird changes that have happened with Falling Up recently, I’m really hoping for a good new album. I’m always curious what change will do to a band, especially after they put out multiple albums that don’t get me fired up. I hope for something more like Dawn Escapes. I know it’s a stretch, but what’s a man got if not for hope?
        - Wayne Reimer

Falling Up has always been an interesting band over the years. I'm looking forward to seeing if they can put together a solid and complete album with their first indie release.
        - Michael Weaver
