For our 6th annual Highlighting feature, we've done things a little differently. Normally, we select our top 25 most anticipated releases for the whole year, but we realize that it's tough to really gauge EVERYTHING that may release throughout a given year when we're making the list in January. So, for 2012, we've split the year into TWO pieces -- January to June and June to December. Also, we're making each list 15 artists/releases for a total of 30 in 2012.

	9 of 15   #9. Flatfoot 56 Toil Release Date: July 24, 2012 Who doesn't love good old punk rock? And bagpipes? Okay some people don't like bagpipes. But these Chicago Celtic rockers may change your mind with their fourth studio album...         - Scott Fryberger Celtic punk isn't for everyone, but Flatfoot 56 have proven themselves. In the vein of bands like Floggin Molly and Dropkick Murphy's, Flatfoot's blend of Irish folk and traditional punk rock is nearly unmatched. Toil promises to be another solid addition to an already noteworthy discography. Don't miss this one.         - Michael Weaver Celtic punk is an underserved genre in Christian music. Thankfully Flatfoot 56 has consistently brought forth strong Irish punk rock.
