I am not alone / There’s a stone I’m built on / There’s a love that will never let me go /
He hears my every cry / He knows how to understand me / He is my one defense, day and night / I rest my soul on the rock of the ages / And my feet stand firm on a sure foundation / All my hope in this salvation / Jesus, Jesus, rock of ages / Precious cornerstone / The one for all generations / Laid that I would hide myself in You / Through every trial and storm / When all else is sinking / There is none so faithful and so true /
When my heart is faint, my faith is small / Oh hide me, Lord / And when all is well, through it all / Oh hide me, Lord

Behind the Song:“Nathan and I wrote this together. This is just kind of our song [commemorating] 20 years of ministry together, of leading worship and being married… The last year-and-a-half, God has just stripped away my trust in man like never before. He’s just [been] calling me back. Probably the Scripture I’ve been going back to the most is Jeremiah 17:5: ‘Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who draws strength from mere flesh and whose heart turns away from the LORD. That person will be like a bush in the wastelands.’ It goes on in verse 7 to say, ‘But blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in Him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.’ That’s where this song came from, just Jesus reorienting my heart fully around Him. He’s the Rock of Ages for all generations. He’s the Cornerstone, and I want to be living that in front of my kids.”
