“This is another one that Nathan and I wrote together… There are so many things in our culture right now that people want us to lean into, and they’re all good things. Whether that’s leaning into church, leaning into your local Bible study, leaning into this; tweet this; be involved in this… So this song was just a private worship [moment] in my life to say, ‘I’m leaning into You, Jesus.’ The thing is, when you’re putting your trust fully in the Lord, I think you have the capacity for Kingdom things in a way that you didn’t before when you were trusting in man. When you trust the Lord, you’re making that a declaration in your life, and that can actually lead you to do Kingdom things. It frees you to do things that were prepared in advance for you, and I think the way that you get your Kingdom assignment is to lean into Jesus.”
