Album Cover
#2. Kevin Max
Serve Somebody EP

Release Date: July 7, 2017
I have been loving K-Max’s post-Audio Adrenaline career. He's had 3 really enjoyable releases and his Serve Somebody covers EP promises to be more of the same. Kevin has been keeping us guessing with each release having a different musical approach and influence and this EP looks to continue the trend. Serve Somebody has the potential to be some of his greatest work yet.
        - Michael Weaver

Kevin doesn't waste any time getting right on to the next project right after completing one (or he's cooking up more than one at the same time!), and the releases don't suffer from this fast turnaround either. Serve Somebody is not only a great batch of songs, but Kevin's treatment of these covers is worthy of the source material. And it's just plain refreshing to hear some good old raw rock n' roll these days.
        - John DiBiase

Sometimes known as the “quirky one” of the dcTalk trio, Kevin Max always brings something new to the table. His originality serves to inspire and stretch listeners, but also is prone to beautifully repackaging a more old-fashioned style. While his albums may not move as many units as TobyMac or the (new) Newsboys, his skill as a musician opens many doors that are often left untouched within the Christian music industry.
        - David Craft

July 7th brings a “return of the singer,” and I for one cannot wait to see what he cooks up this time! One thing is for sure, it will be uniquely Kevin Max as he puts his spin on these cover tunes from his new release Serve Somebody EP.
        - Josh Balogh

The tracklist on Serve Somebody is pretty eclectic, but many of these songs have been covered by other Christian artists in the last few years. I was hoping for a wider range of material. But it’s hard to go wrong with the classic Bob Dylan song of the album title.
        - Alex Caldwell

His last album, Playing Games With the Shadows, really intrigued me and put him on my musical radar. He’s like the David Bowie of Christian music and I’m looking forward to Serve Somebody to see what he concocts next.
        - John Underdown
