Everything is comfortable. Everything is serene. Everything is on the up. Everything is green…All your sin and all your pride. It’s gonna kick your living daylights outta you. And oh, the ones you left behind are gonna kick your living daylights outta you…Everything is amazing. Everyone is happy. Every note you play is a masterpiece. All your songs are sweet and sappy. C’mon C’mon you’re going down…All your sin and all your pride. It’s gonna kick your living daylights outta you. And oh, the ones you left behind are gonna kick your living daylights outta you. All your sin and all your pride. It’s gonna kick your living daylights outta you. And oh, the ones you thought were on your side are gonna kick your living daylights outta you …Picture yourself cruising down a highway and you’re throwing the map out the window. You don’t know where you’re headed so you slam on the brakes but you’ve already gone off the edge. You were once so high but the bigger they are then the harder they fall and that’s you. Take a deep breath, somebody’s there to help you (That’s when the daylight can return)

Behind the Song:
“The lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, the pride of life. These sins will literally kill a person. Yet often in the midst of these circumstances, life can seem quite carefree. However, when one continues in these sinful practices and feels ignorant bliss, beware. Things will not end well.” - Nick
