There’s a hustle and bustle of peasants and merchants selling their wares in the mid-morning sun. There’s a feeling that’s in the air subtle but true. And the children anticipate the One who is to come…Paupers and Princes. Strangers and Kinsmen bow before the royal King. The loser and winners. The saints and the sinners pay homage with their offering…There’s a whispering rumor that soon is confirmed. Those who gather are sure to be pleased at the sight. There’s an average creature with no stunning features who has come to turn all of wrongs into rights…Paupers and Princes. Strangers and Kinsmen bow before the royal King. The loser and winners. The saints and the sinners pay homage with their offering…Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord! In the Name above all! Paupers and Princes. Strangers and Kinsmen bow before the royal King. The loser and winners. The saints and the sinners pay homage with their offering…

Behind the Song:
“This song may require a bit of homework for those not familiar with Bible passages. It describes an event from the book of John (New Testament) chapter 12 and Zechariah 9:9 (Old Testament). Basically I wanted to capture the sense of anticipation that those people must have felt leading up to that great event.” - Geoff
