For our 9th annual Highlighting feature, we split the year into TWO pieces -- January to June and July to December. Each list contains 15 artists/releases for a total of 30 in total for 2015. So, without further ado, we give you Highlighting Second-Half 2015! -- Please keep in mind that any artists that placed in the First Half (like TobyMac, Pillar and winner Paper Route) won't be re-listed here!

#3. Falling Up
untitled

Release Date: October 2015
Yet another Kickstarter success and yet another "final album" to excite fans with bittersweet anticipation, Falling Up has made a name for being as unpredictable as they are experimental. Even those who aren't fans can't view this project without intrigue.
        - Mark Rice

The end of an era... for real this time. Between the ridiculous song titles, cryptic lyrics, and dramatic musical landscapes, Falling Up will be leaving a gaping hole in the Christian music industry, but not before making one final bow.
        - Christopher Smith

Few bands have shown themselves to be as versatile and fluid as Falling Up. Over the years, the band has been defined by dozens of complex genres and varied pools of fans. It's beyond a curiosity to see how they will approach their final album, but it's almost a guarantee that it will be one to leave a mark. Here's hoping that this fan-funded last wind will be one of the best albums we've heard from Falling Up over their 14-year run.
