Behind the Song:
Marine Corps legend, Chesty Puller, coined the phrase “pain is weakness leaving the body.” I relate to its meaning; as painful as my circumstances were, I took solace in my personal growth. These words are the inspiration behind the lyrics in the next song. Thanks to my good friend Eric, who supplied many of the phrases in this song!
