#13. Grits
The Art of Translation

Release Date: August 13, 2002

"Here We Go" was the theme song of my college buddies and I as we piled into my Jeep Cherokee and cranked the volume as we raced to the store on late night Sobe drink runs. "Ooh Ahh" is another straight jam that makes me smile every time I hear it and it was the song that got them mainstream music attention. I wish that they had been bigger, and always felt like they were underappreciated in the industry. They may have just peaked at the wrong time, though they were definitely a duo to help pave the way for the explosion of the CHH scene a decade later.
