For our 6th annual Highlighting feature, we've done things a little differently. Normally, we select our top 25 most anticipated releases for the whole year, but we realize that it's tough to really gauge EVERYTHING that may release throughout a given year when we're making the list in January. So, for 2012, we've split the year into TWO pieces -- January to June and June to December. Also, we're making each list 15 artists/releases for a total of 30 in 2012.

We've already selected the first fifteen artists, so please click here to check those out. Without further ado, we give you Highlighting Second-Half 2012!

#7. Remedy Drive
Resuscitate

Release Date: September 18, 2012
Resuscitate is another album that has been a long time coming. After Remedy Drive's spectacular debut back in 2008, fans have had to chew on a handful of EPs while waiting for the big one. Their sophomore album is almost upon us, and I'm confident fans will be satisfied.
        - Nathaniel Schexnayder

Recently signing with Centricity Music after a couple years without a label home, David Zach and his current incarnation of Remedy Drive get my utmost respect for sticking with their act and mission in the midst of uncertainty. But as a result, my anticipations for Resuscitate, their first full-length studio album in four years, are only growing with the passing months.
        - Roger Gelwicks

I was first introduced to Remedy Drive before they opened at JFH's first-ever GMA showcase and have grown to really love and respect this band. While they're no longer an all-brother outfit, the heart of Remedy Drive is still firmly in place with front man David Zach still leading the pack. Resuscitate ought to be a favorite for 2012.
        - John DiBiase

Piano-driven pop-rock and an incredibly fun live show made Remedy Drive stand out to me a number of years ago. They're back with a new label home at Centricity Music and, we hope, more great music ahead.
        - Jen Rose
