It was really cool meeting everyone in Atlanta for the recording of the album, and with such a talented collective, the creative process was nuts. It was like a week-long rap camp at Dust's spot. Whether it was lobbying to get your production on the record or trying to out-do your brothers every time for "dopest verse on the song," we had a ton of fun crafting some timeless art. For me personally, this was my first official release as a member of the crew, so it was a huge deal for me to have four beats chosen and earn first verse to set the whole album off on "Talk Music." Gotee probably doesn't realize how big of a deal it was that they chose to support several underground hip hop releases at that time. But me and my DS5 brothers are grateful to be considered legacy Gotee alumni and have fond memories of our time associated with them.
