For our 6th annual Highlighting feature, we've done things a little differently. Normally, we select our top 25 most anticipated releases for the whole year, but we realize that it's tough to really gauge EVERYTHING that may release throughout a given year when we're making the list in January. So, for 2012, we've split the year into TWO pieces -- January to June and June to December. Also, we're making each list 15 artists/releases for a total of 30 in 2012.

We've already selected the first fifteen artists, so please click here to check those out. Without further ado, we give you Highlighting Second-Half 2012!

#3. Flyleaf
New Horizons

Release Date: Fall 2012
Flyleaf's self-titled album absolutely blew up, only to be met with mixed reactions to Memento Mori. In the mean time, two solid EPs, one before and one after Memento Mori, have filled the gaps. It's exciting to see Lacey get back to her loud and screaming ways, but hopefully they bring a little of the Remember to Live EP to the table as well. This is an album I cannot wait to get my hands on.
        - Michael Weaver

Flyleaf epitomizes the phrase "girl fronted hard rock band." The quartet from Texas in known for putting out solid rock tunes that we are all excited about. Can't wait for New Horizons to come out!
        - Kevin Hoskins

Flyleaf has continued to make strides in both Christian and general markets. With their hard rock sound and hearts for God, Flyleaf has continued to impress us. Unfortunately their previous release, Memento Mori, underwhelmed fans compared to their self-titled debut. Will their third studio album bring them back up to the level we know they're capable of? I'm going to say yes.
        - Cortney Warner

Call me crazy, but I actually liked Memento Mori considerably more than Flyleaf's debut (Yup, I'm a sucker for melody), but that doesn't mean I'm not pretty pumped for what's next from this talented group of rockers. Bring on New Horizons!
        - John DiBiase
