Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is probably one of the best things Disney has made since buying Star Wars - and definitely the best new theatrical film in the franchise. It's a throwback, yet it tells an untold Star Wars adventure in a way that fits pretty well among the traditional "Episodes." Love it!

Honorable Mentions: Captain America: Civil War. It was tough not to give 2016 to Civil War, but I thought it was fair to mix it up a bit with Rogue One.
